Empowering Women in STEM

We are proud to take part in and sponsor the Women in STEM festival, an initiative that aligns with our commitment to gender equality and empowerment. By supporting this festival, we aim to inspire and encourage women to pursue careers in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics, fields where they have been historically underrepresented.

 

Supporting Our SocarCape Family

The tragedy that struck seven years ago, with the loss of our colleagues in a fire on a SOCAR platform, remains in our hearts. In their memory, we have taken it upon ourselves to support the education of their children. We are currently providing study support for the son of one of our former workers, ensuring that the legacy of our colleagues continues through the success of their families.

 

Environmental Stewardship

Our environmental initiatives reflect our respect for the planet. In collaboration with the Ministry of Ecology, we have planted 3,764 olive trees, contributing to reforestation and biodiversity. Our green endeavors for 2023 include:

 

- Internal Fundraising: We are organizing internal fundraising events to support the families of our workers facing critical medical situations, reinforcing our commitment to the well-being of our employees.

 

- Tree Planting Campaign: In partnership with the Ministry of Ecology, we plan to plant an additional 3,000 to 5,000 trees in the Absheron Region, furthering our efforts to combat climate change and beautify our local environment.

 

- Support for Sports and Health: We are in discussions to support the Azerbaijani Climbing Federation, promoting physical health, teamwork, and the spirit of adventure among the youth of Azerbaijan.

 

Our CSR initiatives are an integral part of our corporate ethos. We are dedicated to continuous improvement in our CSR strategies, ensuring that we can make a difference in the communities where we operate and for the planet we all share.
